Hendaye, a site "designed by water"!
The Tribord global design centre is based in the former fish market in the fishing port of Hendaye, a mere stone's throw from the Spanish border and the Atlantic ocean.
Our location at the water's edge makes it easier for us to run field tests, which in turn help us to constantly improve upon our product designs.
A total of 130 people work at this site, including 60 engineers, designers, garment designers and prototypers.
Within the walls of the global design centre, these creative souls have a host of tools at their disposal: brainstorming room, prototype workshop (cutting machine, sublimation machine, etc.), the "garage", a haven of creativity where anyone can breathe life into their ideas by developing "monsters" or functional prototypes.
These prototypes are then tested directly in the ocean or using machines located on site.
