Care instructions
Rinse your kayak with fresh water before prolonged storage. Take out the floor, dry the floor and the rest of the kayak separately, then put it back together and fold up. Never open the fasteners after inflation.
Storage Tips
Dry, deflate, fold up. Store in a cool, dry place.
Restrictions on use
Do not leave inflated in direct sunlight: risk of overinflation.

FEATURES OF THE PRODUCT

Inflation recommendations & precautions
Inflate the floor first, then one of the side tubes and then the second tube to 50%. Check the overall positioning of the chambers. Then inflate it all to 100% without exceeding 0.1 bar (1.5 psi). DO NOT OVERINFLATE! Fully close all of the valves. Install the 3 keels, except when using in rivers where there is not much water. In the event of EXTREME HEAT, deflate the kayak slightly out of the water to avoid overinflation which may damage the kayak.
Maintenance tips
In the event of damage to one of the side chambers, open the side tube lengthways using the zip and remove the chamber. The floor can be uncovered by opening the Velcro fastenings. Example 1: the hole is located on the side tube, you can use the repair kit to stick on a patch. Example 2: the hole is located along a seam; visit the workshop of a DECATHLON store to repair or exchange the bladder.
Easy to disassemble and fold
New carry bag for 2016, backpack style for short trips. New 2016 fins with easy clips. Deflate the kayak by unscrewing the 3 "Boston" valves. Fold the side tubes down onto the floor. Roll, starting from the opposite side to the valves to drive out the air. Place the rolled-up kayak into the main compartment of the bag. Close the zip and tighten using the compression strap.
Seat comfort
The seats are high, providing increased comfort for adults in the paddling position. The seats are to be placed according to the number of persons on board, just behind of the markings printed on the floor. On the "2" markings (which therefore remain visible) when there are 2 persons on board. On the "1" marking when there is only one person on board. Ensure that you balance your load to optimise kayak performance.
Glide performance
Patented bow shape: the front and back ends provide good glide. The V-shaped front of the kayak enables smooth entry into the water.

    1/2 man kayak

Very easy to setup and to deflate and put away. When on the water it's very stable and a lot of fun. Ive given the ITIwIT a road trip on canals and also on rivers and have not had any problems at all. A lot of fun you shouldn't miss out on.

Excellent kayak for an unbeatable price.

I used this kayak for a 6-day trip on a river in Italy, with white water up until level III. I was worried if it is suitable for such an intensive trip but was really surprised by its robustness and resistance to shark rocks and trees in the water. We often scratched hard rocks and bumped against obstacles and the surface of the kayak is still in great shape.
A dog accompanied the trip in the kayak as well which was no problem at all.
The fact that the kayak supposably only carries load up until 150kg was a slight concern of mine also, as the dog and I almost met this limit even without luggage. However, we definitely were above the limit (ca. 160kg) but the kayak could hold it all despite! The rucksack is definitely of great use and comes in handy when transporting the kayak.

    Suggested improvements:
    - The kayak should come with a gauge as one otherwise risks to over-inflate the kayak. I would definitely accept a slight higher price even. Buying a separate gauge at the store was not possible.
    - The valves in the kayak can easily get lost as only one part of the valve is attached to the kayak. The valves of the seats are completely attached to the seats, so I don't know why the kayak valves aren't.
    - The inflatable floor is covered in a canvas floor piece which is great. However, getting both of it dry at the end of a trip is rather cumbersome.
    - The kayak could do with some more attachment points or fixing options in order to attach luggage etc.
For example: the front could also have some elastic bands, or the sides could have some rings or other fix points.
    - The maximum load is 150kg which definitely has room to increase, e.g. by making the bladders higher.
    - The seats can hardly be used for sitting comfortably for a longer period, however one is not supposed to use the back of the seat during kayaking anyway.

We also happened to compare the kayak to one from the brand Sevylor and found that despite a higher price of the Sevylor kayak the Itiwit kayak was much better in terms of usability, practicability and shape.
