To make the most of your EASYBREATH®, it is essential to choose a size that is suited to the shape and size of your head.

To take full advantage of the Easybreath® experience in the long term, here are
some tips and some advice on how best to use your snorkelling mask. Avoid
leaving your Easybreath® mask in the sand As is the case of sunglasses, the
Easybreath® mask must not be left in direct contact with grains of sand. There
is a risk that they will scratch the lens of your mask and reduce visibility in the
water. In the same way, do not apply force when clipping the snorkel on if you
feel the grains of sand are causing resistance. Simply rinse your Easybreath®
snorkel and your snorkelling mask before clipping them together.

Why can't you free dive with the Easybreath mask?
The volume of air contained in the Easybreath is much greater than that contained in a traditional mask; from 1 m deep, the pressure of the mask on the face becomes very uncomfortable. When you free dive, you need to equalize the pressure afterwards. However, with the Easybreath this is not possible because you cannot get at your nose.
Why isn't the snorkel of the Easybreath very long?
Contrary to what some may think, the snorkel of the Easybreath sticks out of the water more than a traditional snorkel. A traditional snorkel seems longer because it starts from the mouth and not the top of the head like the Easybreath. To guarantee respiration that meets current standards, we cannot make the snorkel any longer.
What size Easybreath should I choose?
The Easybreath is available in 2 sizes which cover 90% of faces. Children aged over 10, teenagers and women should opt for the S/M size, and men for the M/L size. To choose the right size in store, tighten the mask so that it fits against your face. There should be no gap between your chin and the bottom of the mask. More details: http://www.tribord.tm.fr/conseils/comment-choisir-la-taille-de-son-masque-easybreathr
Why two sizes instead of four?
Sizes S/M and M/L cover 90% of face sizes of people aged over 10. Therefore, sizes XS and L/XL have been discontinued. This optimisation will enable us to reduce the price of the Easybreath.
Can I use the Easybreath if I have a beard?
Beards can be responsible for letting in significant amounts of water. We recommend that men shave their beards before using the Easybreath because the hairs can break the seal between the silicone skirt of the mask and your skin.
How does the exclusive anti-fogging concept work?
It works best in waters over 18°C and is based on the fact that the fresh air breathed in is projected onto the front window before reaching the nose or mouth. The moist air that you breathe out is expelled through the side connections made of plastic and then silicone, which channel the air in the snorkel. In this way, the air constantly renewed. This is the same principle as the ventilation of your car windscreen.
How does the dry-top system stop water from entering?
It was developed to stop water from getting into the snorkel when there is choppy water, small waves on the surface or when the user leans their head too far forward to observe the seabed. There is a float in the snorkel that rises when you dive and blocks the tube. After diving, remember to blow out when returning to the surface to make sure that the float descends.
What precautions should I take with my Easybreath mask?
Pay attention to sand! Avoid letting your Easybreath mask come into contact with sand as this can scratch the window of the mask. If sand is present, do not use force to clip the snorkel into place. Rinse the snorkel and mask before connecting them. Sand can also clog the float valve inside the snorkel. Rinse the snorkel vigorously or use a key that you can fit through the rear vents of the snorkel to unblock the float valve, then rinse the snorkel.
Can I repair my Easybreath mask if it breaks?
YES, extend the lifespan of your Easybreath mask! After-sales service is available from the Workshop in your Decathlon store. Spare parts can also be purchased online at: http://spi-atelier.decathlon.fr/fr/atelier/produit/1885088 . Part codes: strap - 8316952, valve - 8363399, snorkel - 8342901, white cover - 8363395.

Saw some people with these in Cuba. Hate the normal mask, which always lets water in, so decided to give this a try - it's brilliant!!!!! The visual field is much larger than conventional snorkling masks and so easy to breathe. Once you get over looking like Darth Vader ( or in my case Darthette Vaser since mask was only available in pink!) Ian's stares from other people it's great. It also stimulated a lot of interest from other people. Went snorkling and swimming in it - no need to do those pesky rolls to breath when doing front crawl As others have said - get the right fit and make sure all hair is out of the way for good seal and Bob' your uncle......
Would definately recommend this

Bought two, returned two.
Looked really cool Filled with water!

Maybe we were just very unlucky, but when we got these home, the side of one was separated (there's a joint half way up) and water was flooding in, and the other one simply filled up with water from the bottom as soon as the face was immersed.

Brand's answer :

Hi Tim,

Thanks for your message, sorry to hear about your experience with the Easybreath. I am not sure what happened to the first one, but I can only assume it was faulty, apologies for this. With the second perhaps it was the fit? For the Easybreath to work properly it is essential that that you have the correct size due to the nature of the seal around the face. Also factors such as having a beard can also affect the performance of the seal.
Please could you return both masks for an exchange or full refund at your earliest convenience?
Apologies for the issues caused.

    very easy to use

love this snorkel. Easy to use even if your a beginner. Only down side i have found is that if on a stone beach it can get small stone stuck in the white piece at the front and very hard to get out, doesn't effect it working but is a little annoying.

    Fab, simply fab.

I have a dodgy jaw, having had it reset once after it dislocated. Gripping a normal snorkel between my teeth makes it ache horribly but this new mask has completely resolved the problem. It is so comfortable, no leaks at all and gives such a feeling of freedom. What a great buy! We are off on holiday in a few weeks and my husband bought it for me as a birthday present. I have tried it out in a swimming pool and now can't wait to get amongst the turtles in the Indian Ocean.

    Fogging...Fullface mask valve problem

If your mask fogs up it is probably because the small almost see-through valve has fallen out when you washed it!!..I only noticed when a friend of mine pointed out that I only had one!..another design fault that needs to be addressed. What shame as the basic idea of the full face mask is brilliant but it can only work if all the components are of good quality.
My 2 emails to the customer service dept still remain without a response...thats not really good enough!! If you are considering buying one I sugggest that you read the reviews & possibly purchase from another providered that might have solved this problem & has a fold down style breathing tube!!
