Our technical partner: Planet Ocean. This is a PADI 5 star diving centre based at Tribord. The centre uses Tribord equipment throughout the year. The team of instructors are rigorously involved in the development of Tribord diving products, from the design stage with product managers, designers and engineers, through prototype testing to long-term wear tests with the help of divers from beginner level to instructors in continuous training.
indicates on the surface that there is a scuba diver below during decompression.
It is important to store diving equipment away from sources that produce ozone. Keep your equipment in a dry place away from heat and direct sunlight.
Restrictions on use
Diving requires the certification of an instructor.
FEATURES OF THE PRODUCT
120 g weight, snap hook and 6 m non-floating polyester halyard (optimal resistance against sunlight) to attach it to a buoyancy compensator. Length: 150 cm - width: 15 cm - thickness: 8 cm
Main fabric made of polyamide with a polyurethane coating that provides good resistance to wear and friction. Seams reinforced by braiding.
Patented surface marker buoy
The patent applies to a one-way valve that allows the surface marker buoy to remain inflated, even when it is lying on the water (wind, waves, slack cord, etc.). Consequently, the surface marker buoy remains inflated and operational. This valve also acts as an overpressure valve, preventing damage to the surface marker buoy when the air expands as it rises to the surface.
Colour: visibility and signalling
The colour of the orange SMB provides excellent visibility during the day. The colour of the black SMB means that it is also clearly visible at night, thanks to the reflective ink. The colour of the black SMB means that it is also clearly visible at night, thanks to the reflective ink.
Why we chose the colour black
We chose to offer a black SMB because the colour black is more visible in certain diving conditions, such as in low morning light and for twilight and night dives. The Alpha flag is printed in reflective ink; on the black buoy this makes it very visible. Moreover, even in daylight it contrasts very well when viewed from land looking out to sea. It is also due to this contrast that cardinal marks are yellow and black.
